| Stowmarket |
Situated just off the A14 trunk road between
Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds, and on the the main rail line between
Norwich and London.
The market town is the largest in Mid Suffolk. It became well-known
across England when it was regularly mentioned by the late broadcaster
John Peel, who lived nearby until his death. The town is home
to The Museum of East Anglian Life - a collection of artefacts
and buildings from around East Anglia.
