The East Anglian Medieval Festival,

Cressing Temple, Braintree, Essex CM77 8PD

This popular event is moving to Cressing Temple from Rougham Airfield and the new setting will make it even more enjoyable. A packed programme of Arena Displays will culminate in a daily Battle, there will be living history camps to explore where you can find out more about life in the Middle Ages.
A Medieval Market for your retail therapy featuring a surprising variety of things from traditional Mead to a made to measure suit of armour, side shows such as 'Have a Go Archery', quality catering and a traditional Ale Bar.
Although the final line up is still to be confirmed, previous East Anglian Medieval Festivals have featured Archery, Falconry, Music, Mounting Hunting Games, Dance, and a re-creation of the Ivanhoe Tournamnet with jousting and melee.

10am-6pm on Saturday and 10am-4pm on Sunday Adults £10, Concessions £7, Children £5 (5-15) This event is directly supporting the Farleigh House Hospice
