Saturday 6th August, 2005 saw the 2nd Beccles Skateboard
Jam Competition. Held at Beccles Skatepark, Common Lane
and organised by local website becclesskate
along with help from newly opened skateboard suppliers
Smash Skates of Beccles and the Beccles Youth Forum. The
Red Cross were on-hand, but fortunately not kept too busy.
There were three age groups, Under 13's, 13-15 and 16+
plus best overall trick on Mini-Ramp and Best Trick on
Flat Bank. Prizes were donated by local and national companies.
