It's not just sheep that can be controlled by dogs!

The 2006 Mid-Suffolk Show took place over Easter Sunday & Monday (16th & 17th April) at the Mid Suffolk Showground, Pettaugh Road, Stonham Aspal, Stowmarket, Suffolk.

This venue is always popular as there is much to see and there are the additional attractions of the Stonham Barns craft and shopping centre, Redwings Horse Sanctuary and Suffolk Owl Sanctuary.

This years' show featured displays of classic cars and bygones, trade and craft stalls and Cambridge Ferret Welfare displays.

Sunday saw the EADT Heavy Horse Competition where Suffolk Punches, Clydesdale and from France the Percheron and their owners were put through a series of tests in a novel competition.

Sheepdog displays are always interesting, but this year at the Mid-Suffolk Show there was a novel twist with the dogs herding, ducks and turkeys instead of the usual sheep!
