Stowmarket Art Club 51st Annual Exhibition at the United Reformed Church.
This year will display around 250 paintings by club members and as the exhibition is non profit making, the paintings are priced fairly with no need for profit mark-up. An excellent opportunity to purchase paintings by local artists, at very favourable prices. With an ever increasing attendance at the exhibition and consequent increase in sales, an early visit is recommended. Even if you do not want to buy a painting, there is sure to be plenty for you to appreciate and admire. Admittance is free.
An added attraction this year will be a mock-up of an artist’s studio, to give visitors an impression of how the great artists of history might have worked. Who knows, it could turn out to be Stowmarket’s entry for the Turner Prize this year.
The Annual Exhibition of Stowmarket Art Club will take place from Tuesday May 24th until Saturday May 28th 2011.
There will be a Private View on Monday May 23rd at 7.30. A few free tickets to the private view are available to discerning buyers of paintings. Contact Dennis Copping 01449 612970
