Aldeburgh Food and Drink Festival

The Aldeburgh Food and Drink Festival takes place on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th September (2011).

The Festival is a celebration of the abundance of quality, local food and drink to be found in East Suffolk. There will be over 90 exhibitors attending, showcasing organic vegetables, fresh and smoked fish, rare breed meat and game, cheeses, frozen yoghurt, jams, beer, wine and lager.
The main festival weekend is always an impressive two-day programme of talks, workshops and cookery demonstrations from top chefs There will also be a conference held on Friday 23rd September entitled “An Appetite for Change: Suffolk & the Sea”, focusing on the sea as a threat from sea-level rise and flooding.
