Colchester Zoo: Shriek Week for Halloween

Categories: Special Events

Shriek Week returns at Colchester Zoo and for this year there is a frightfully good line up planned, which will see the zoo staying open after dark until 9pm on selected nights over the October half term.

During your visit you can take a stroll through the eerie enchanted riverside forest, ride aboard the spooky road train and if you dare you can visit the creepy haunted remains of the zoo’s All Saints Church.

Throughout the day the zoo will have many themed displays, late night animal feeds and themed activities. Also the falconry show is a must see for those who would like to see a special talk on the myths and magic surrounding birds of prey.

So dress up in your scariest costumes and join in with the fun at the Zoo this Halloween, the zoo has plenty in store to keep you in suspense and guarantees an enchanting experience for both children and adults.

• Please note that Colchester Zoo is only open until 9pm on the 25th, 27th, 29th and 31st October
